How grunge

Yes, I'm alive but I'm struggling to live. Plates and deadlines are making it harder for me to survive day by day and luckily, here I am breathing. Wait, how long has it been? Oh, well, who gives a... Okay, since I've been swamped with school works, plates to finish and minor subjects to study for and attend to, forgive me. I have a photo set for you to look at because I love you guys.

And that's about it. I will be back for more of these photo sets just to keep this running, I'm just really really busy.

Projects

I've joined this art exhibit and I was assigned to do the poster and invitations for the exhibit.
I have many projects ahead, I'm also working along with some friends for a secret project that you will soon find out. For now, all I can say is I'm extremely busy and I am loving it. Better busy than bored.

Hard to explain

I picked out a few sketches I made for my portfolio design class and I would like to share it with you all. Honestly this keeps me up so late at night trying to think of ideas for one sketch because we have to come up with fifty for the whole semester although it was cut down to I think 40 or 42? I'm not so sure but I'll have to do lesser than fifty since there were two Sundays the class didn't meet so I'm pretty much thankful for that.

Note that every sketch has a meaning but I've had enough of the explaining in school, so no more. I'll let you guys interpret it yourselves. It couldn't be more interactive! haha

Okay, this one is unfinished.

That is all, I hope you were able to interpret it, well, I wouldn't say correctly but rather in your very own way of interpreting and understanding visuals.

Warpaint

When I'm in the process of trying to finish my plates, I spend more than half my time sitting in front of my computer, browse browse browse the internet, find good music for inspiration, stand up, go outside the room and find something to eat, walk around the room, look outside the window, get annoyed for not being able to do what I must do, stare at my fish, drink water, then actually start working. And the cycle goes on until I get to finish what I have to. What's worse is I don't get to finish anything which rarely happens so, I can say I'm not that much of a procrastinator.

As of now, I am obsessing over Warpaint. Their album The Fools and Exquisite Corpse has been soothing my ear and my whole being. They're all very very talented and this is what music is to me. Their bassist, Jenny Lee is so rad, she is undoubtedly my favorite though I love them all and it's a dream to watch them perform live. Judging from the live performances I've watched on YouTube, they make the song a hundred times better than that of the studio version.

Not to mislead you but I have a very unrelated title because I'm currently listening to Warpaint's Baby and that line is stuck in my head.

I decided to get up early today because I planned on doing my magazine since yesterday, I was doing the layout and it was all over the place. I got upset but I didn't stop doing it right away, I took a little break and got back to it after a few hours but still, I can't manage to pull it together so finally I gave up and decided I'd do it in the morning since Saturday is the only day I get to do the things I have to do. Note that it is the things I HAVE to do not the things I actually WANT to do because  right now, all I want to have is to get a full body massage because  PE tortured my legs. It still hurts. A lot. But honestly just a little now since I had PE like two days ago.

I decided to make my own breakfast because I didn't like what's on the table this morning. I found hash browns in the fridge and the fita bread I bought last week. I stuffed it with chocolate spread and threw it in the toaster. Where will you even find that? haha

I took a picture of my cat which I'm dying to put inside the house but I'm worried about the cat fur and my mom will be strongly against it. Though she's not around, I'm still worried about the fur it's going to shed all around the house not to mention it's going to stick on clothes and bed sheets. I don't want that, not at all.

and of course my other pet, Cole. Isn't he just lovely? I plan on getting him an actual fish bowl because I think he's sad about how small his house is so soon as I get to have enough money, I'll get him one.

Meanwhile, on my wall.

Busy busy busy

I have been meaning to blog about this for the longest time now but I barely have the time to construct a decent paragraph. I'm drowning in deadlines, home works and other school- related stuff. I went home right after teaching in art class and after meeting for our short movie production for literature class.

"Never stop creating. The moment you stop growing, you're dead."

It feels good to have my name printed on a magazine.

I honestly enjoy being around children a lot because most of the time although they tend to be tiring because they run around a lot and I have to make sure that they don't get themselves into any kind of danger, there's something about them that I can't exactly point out. What I'm sure of is I enjoy being around and talking to them though some of them can barely talk since they're four to seven years of age.

I have to make use of my time in the best way possible. I still have a twenty- page magazine to layout and about eleven sketches to do. Adios.
